Samsung mobile have achieved great success with their smart phones as they
offer a range of phone at a much lower cost than the other leading competitor
(apple-iPhone) as they offer such variety these appeals to a much wider target audience.
This is their key strategy in standing out in the market by not having a
defined target audience. Their phones
are also leading in innovation which has allowed them to becoming the no1
mobile maker in the world. The apple iPhone another hugely successful mobile
phone has currently release their latest version of their smart phone the Iphone5,
From reading reviews on this phones it appears that as always ‘Apple’ have
brought out another good working device with some improvements and changes from
the iPhone 4 (faster processor and larger screen) but in reality in does nothing
special compared to its predecessor, so why has it sold in its millions? Amazing
customer loyalty and clever branding, Apple doesn’t just sell you a mobile
phone they offer a lifestyle to its consumers and hands them technology on a
plate. Its aim was to sell the idea that the iPhone would make people’s lives
easier. Apple also has an air of exclusiveness surrounding it, making their
customers feel like they a part of superior community.

legal responsibilities
Legal responsibilities
Brands must be protected and this can be done under the
copyright and patent act. Copyright means that no one can copy your work without
permission. Copyright is automatic but it still needs to be asserted.
It’s also a good idea to registering your trademark; you
obtain legal rights that can prevent others from making unauthorised use of
your trademark.
Examples of a trademark are shown below.
Unique Selling Proposition
Unique selling proposition
Unique selling proposition is a declaration that a company
will use to make customers buy their product over all others. When you start up a business you have to not
only believe in your service and product but you have to see it fully from your
potential customer’s point of view. Does your product give your customer what
it wants? What can you do different to turn them into a regular and perhaps
loyal customer? You may not have a unique product to offer but how can you make
your particular product stand out from the competitor? An example of a good USP
would be for Domino’s pizza,
“You
get fresh, hot pizza delivered to your door in 30 minutes or less -- or it's
free."
The reason why it worked so well was the fact
that the USP benefiting the customers at every point, offering food direct to
your door that would be fresh and hot or get it for free, It was a simple but
extremely effective USP.
